Required Documents
At least one (1) month prior to the couple’s arrival, each Document should be copied and Notarized before been sent after which the Couple should arrive in the Island 24 hours before the Wedding day. The Following legal documents are needed:
- Proof of Citizenship – Birth Certificate for Bride and Groom.
- Identification – Picture of Passport
- Prove of Divorce – (If applicable)
- Certified copy of death certificate of widow or widower- (If applicable)
Please Note: These documents should be translated to English and notarized if your Country’s language is not English. We will assist in every possible way we can.
Immediately following your Ceremony, you will be given a Marriage Register which is a proof of Marriage. This will be signed by the Marriage Officer, yourselves and your Witnesses. For Intimate Weddings where it’s the Couple alone, DWEPP Jamaica will provide the Witnesses.
